Ex-Madrid attacker could be on his way to the Lane.
Long-running Tottenham Hotspur target Roberto Soldado has dropped his strongest hint yet that he will be quitting Valencia this summer in order to move to the Premier League, reports the Metro.
The prolific Spain international has been at the Mestalla for the past three seasons now, having originally joined the Liga outfit from fellow Spanish outfit Getafe for just 10 million euros in July 2010.
And in the intervening three-year period the 28-year-old has established himself as one of the deadliest front men operating on the Continent, having found the back of the net an impressive 82 times in only 141 matches in all competitions for his club.
As a result, the north London club are understood to be keen to bring the forward to White Hart Lane this summer and will be encouraged to hear the player say: “I’m not closing the door to anyone.
“I know that some of my Spain team-mates have left La Liga and done very well. The Premier League is very attractive.”
