Spurs plan to swoop for Arsenal target.
Tottenham Hotspur want to hijack Arsenal’s move for Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy, according to the Daily Mail.
Both clubs are keen to strengthen their striking options this summer and both are looking at Remy.
The 27-year-old scored 14 Premier League goals while on loan at Newcastle United last season and he has an £8m release clause in his current contract at Loftus Road.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is willing to activate the clause and Remy is believed to be very interested in a move to the Emirates Stadium.
However, Tottenham plan to tempt the player to White Hart Lane by promising him a regular starting place, something Arsenal may be unable to offer.
Remy is currently with the France squad at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
He has been capped 23 times at senior international level, scoring five goals.
