Spurs player eyes permanent move to Hull.
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jake Livermore has said that he hopes to return to Hull City next season.
The 24-year-old, who has two years remaining on his contract with Spurs, is currently on loan at the KC Stadium.
Since joining the Tigers on a season-long deal in August, Livermore has scored three goals and provided four assists in 35 Premier League matches.
He has also helped Hull reach their first ever FA Cup final, where they will face Tottenham’s North London rivals, Arsenal, at Wembley Stadium on May 17.
Hull end their league campaign at home to Everton on Sunday and Livermore does not want the game to be his last top-flight appearance for the Yorkshire club.
He told the Daily Star: “I hope not. I’ve really enjoyed myself here.
“Whatever happens in the summer, whatever the two clubs agree, if they could sort something out that would be great.
“Of course I’d like to stay. I feel as though I owe the manager, his staff, my team-mates and the fans a lot.”
