Spurs end the season on a high with an easy win in what is likely to be Tim Sherwood’s last game in charge.
Tottenham Hotspur secured their place in next season’s Europa League with a comfortable 3-0 home win over Aston Villa on Sunday.
All the goals were scored in the first half, as Paulinho and Emmanuel Adebayor found the net, either side of an own goal from Nathan Baker.
See how the players rated here:
Hugo Lloris – 6
Looked a little shaky coming for crosses on a couple of occasions, but dealt well with Villa’s only shot on target – a long-range effort from Fabian Delph.
Danny Rose – 8
His side’s first-half domination of possession allowed Rose to frequently get forward. He showed off his attacking ability to create Tottenham’s second goal, chipping the ball over a defender before drilling in a fierce cross that went in off Baker.
Kyle Naughton – 5
Like Rose, Naughton got forward a lot, but with less success. He also picked up the game’s only yellow card for a needless tug on Andreas Weimann.
