North Londoners have been tracking Bosnian for some time now.
Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing AS Roma midfield player Miralem Pjanic this summer, according to reports in the Daily Mail.
The young Bosnia and Herzegovina international has only been in the Italian capital for the past two seasons now, having originally arrived at the Stadio Olimpico from Ligue 1 giants Olympique Lyonnais in July 2011 on a your-year deal worth 11 million euros.
And in the intervening two-year period, the 23-year-old has featured in 60 matches in all competitions for the Romans, registering seven goals and 17 assists during that time, including six goals and 15 assists in his 57 Serie A contests for the club.
However, with a contract with Roma that runs until June 30 2015, Tottenham head coach Andre Villas-Boas knows that the Bosnian will not come cheap this summer, with Giallorossa understood to be seeking a fee somewhere in the region of £20m for Pjanic this summer.
