1. Ledley King
A rare one club man, King came through the ranks at White Hart Lane and went on to become of the Premier League’s most naturally gifted defenders. Blessed with superb pace, poise, timing, athleticism and a technique, King was comfortable in both midfield and defence but the late stages of his career were hampered by serious injuries.
In the last of his 13 seasons at Tottenham, King could not train due a chronic knee problem but was still one of the best players on the pitch for Harry Redknapp’s talented Tottenham side. He remains a club ambassador and is a true Tottenham legend.
