Tottenham Hotspur are believed to hold a strong interest in signing Barcelona defender Marc Bartra this summer.
The Spain international has an £8.7million buy-out clause in his contract and is open to a move away from the Camp Nou in order to secure more regular football.
The 24-year-old only made 11 La Liga starts last season and nine more in cup competitions as Barca won the treble.

His agent has confirmed that there is interest in Bartra from England. Liverpool had previously been touted as admirers, but Spurs are reportedly at the front of the queue.
Bartra’s representative Javier Diaz is quoted by Sky Sports as saying: “There is interest in Marc from England and other countries in Europe.
“This is normal, but I cannot speak about the clubs. He is happy at Barcelona but he wants to play more games and we will look at the options. He has a €12m release clause in his contract.”
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has made strengthening his defence a priority this summer and has already signed Austrian Kevin Wimmer.
