Tottenham want FC Twente’s Nacer Chadli at White Hart Lane.
Tottenham are keen to boost their Belgian contingent with FC Twente winger Nacer Chadli, according to the Daily Mirror.
The winger is also attracting interest from Swansea City and Aston Villa, while Shakhtar Donetsk are thought to have offered the 23-year-old a contract.
Chadli has been with Twente since joining from AGOVV Apeldoorn in 2010 and enjoyed a fine campaign in the Eredivisie and Europa League last season.
The 6’2″ star normally operates on the left-wing and his arrival in north London would allow Gareth Bale to permanently move into a central striking role.
Chadli has earned 14 caps for his country and would join fellow Belgians Jan Vertonghen and Mousa Dembele at White Hart Lane, both of whom have been a huge success since arrival last summer.
The playmaker twice scored against Spurs in the Champions League in 2010, netting at the Lane in September before scoring a free-kick in the return group match in Holland.
