Frenchman being considered as Valdes replacement, along with Reina and De Gea.
Barcelona will look to the Premier League to replace goalkeeper Victor Valdes this summer, with Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris the latest name to be linked with the Catalans.
Current Barca number one Victor Valdes has confirmed he will not be extending his contract, which is due to expire in summer 2014, and the La Liga giants are expected to sell the Spaniard this summer.
Lloris only arrived at White Hart Lane in August and the France international captain was forced to bide his time before earning his first Premier League start in October.
But the 25-year-old is now firmly established ahead of veteran Brad Friedel as Spurs’ number one, and has caught the eye with a string of assured displays.
According to Portuguese source A Bola, Barca’s sporting director Andoni Zubizaretta has put Lloris forward as a candidate to replace Valdes, but Manchester United’s David de Gea and Liverpool’s former Barcelona stopper Pepe Reina are also under consideration.
