Spurs want Ince but would loan the winger back to Blackpool.
Blackpool forward Tom Ince has emerged as a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur, as the north London club prepare a £10m bid for the Englishman, according to the Sun.
The young winger is quickly becoming regarded as one of the finest potential talents in the country, having impressed with the Seasiders last term and helping the club to the play-offs.
Ince is a product of the Liverpool youth academy and there were thoughts that the Merseyside club would move to re-sign the 21-year-old – although as yet nothing has come of this.
The England under-21 international nearly made an £8m switch to Cardiff City earlier in the summer after agreeing personal terms and completing a medical, only to reject the offer at the last minute.
This was because Ince wanted to stay in Blackpool to spend time with the attacker’s family, yet a move to Tottenham may just be too good to turn down.
It would be especially tempting as Spurs would allow the starlet to return to Bloomfield Road on-loan until the end of the season.
The north London club have already spent over £100m on new players and with stars such as Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen being bought in, it would be unlikely Ince would get much playing time at White Hart Lane in 2013/14.
Therefore the prospect of not only joining one of the most ambitious clubs in the Premier League currently, but also being able to stay in Lancashire for one more year, may be an attractive prospect for the young winger.
