Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and director of football Franco Baldini will lead negotiations with former Arsenal star Marc Overmars, now technical director at Ajax.
De Telegraaf believes the two clubs are likely to reach an agreement at around €10m (£8.6m) for Eriksen, who has just one year remaining on his contract.
Spurs have enjoyed happy hunting in the Eredivisie in recent seasons, signing Ajax captain Jan Vertonghen for around £10m last summer and FC Twente’s Nacer Chadli for just £8m in July.
