Spurs eyeing up a move for experienced striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino could well be losing patient with his underperforming senior attacking duo Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado, with CalcioMercato reporting that Spurs are lining up a bargain swoop for experienced Netherlands international Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Huntelaar is out of contract at FC Schalke at the end of the season and looks unlikely to pen a new deal with Roberto di Matteo’s side, meaning that he could well be available for a relatively cheap price in the January transfer window.
Despite the fine form of young striker Harry Kane, di Matteo may feel that he needs additional reinforcements if his side are to score the goals they need to challenge for Champions League qualification – and former Real Madrid striker Huntelaar could well fit the bill.
