Tottenham have tabled a bid for Chelsea striker Victor Moses, according to reports.
Moses has not played a game under Jose Mourinho and spent last season on loan at Stoke City.
According to The Sun, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to bolster his attack and Spurs have launched an £8m bid for the Nigerian international.
Mourinho is reportedly keen to keep hold of Moses, with The Sun on Wednesday reporting that the Portuguese boss would block Moses from joining Stoke City on a permanent deal.
Despite Tottenham’s advances, it’s hard to see Chelsea selling the 24-year-old to its London rivals especially considering he was not allowed to join the Potters.
Moses enjoyed a successful loan stint with the Potters last season, scoring three goals in 19 appearances as Stoke finished in a respectable ninth place on the Premier League table.
Despite his strong form with Stoke, Moses faces a difficult task in breaking into Chelsea’s first-team squad with the likes of Diego Costa, Radamel Falcao and Loic Remy on the books.
