Pochettino lavishes praise on Wojciech Szczesny.
Tottenham Hotspur manager unsurprisingly praised his goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris, in the wake of his side’s North London derby draw against Arsenal at the weekend, but eyebrows were raised when he also put Arsenal stopper Wojciech Szczesny in the bracket of the world’s finest.

Pochettino is quoted as having told Sky Sports:
“I think he is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, not just the Premier League. He is unbelievable.”
“Neuer, Szczesny… I think there’s a lot of good keepers. But Lloris is one of them.”
Lavishing such praise on Szczesny may come as some surprise, with the Pole generally not yet considered to be one of the top goalkeepers around, although he has largely been dependable for the Gunners since breaking into the first team following a loan spell with Brentford.
