Soldado slams Valencia before flying to London to complete Tottenham move.
Tottenham’s new signing Roberto Soldado has fired a parting shot at former club Valencia.
Spurs announced the £26m signing of the 28-year-old on Thursday but before flying to London to complete a medical, the Spain international slammed Los Che and president Amadeo Salvo.
“I’m leaving because I do not trust Valencia or believe in the project,” Soldado told Spanish daily AS.
“The president has told many lies and has hurt myself and my agents, who are like my family. I have decided to leave at this time because I lost confidence in this project.”
