Starting XI
Hugo Lloris: 7
Rarely tested by the Potters by the Frenchman will be delighted to have kept his first clean sheet in eight games.
Kyle Naughton: 6
Neat and tidy; nothing more. He is far too reticent to get forward.
Michael Dawson: 8
The captain was excellent on his return to the first team, winning plenty of balls in the air and stifle Stoke with his sense of positioning.
Younes Kaboul: 7
A good showing from the Frenchman, who almost created a goal with a superb, powerful burst forward at the death. If he can get a good pre-season under his belt and return to his 2011/12 form, it’ll be a huge boost for Spurs for term.
Danny Rose: 7
Scored the only goal with an excellent header but lost his cool after being targeted by the Stoke City fans and his reaction to being quite rightly subbed by Sherwood was poor.
