Tottenham player ratings v Liverpool: Soldado & Bentaleb especially dreadful

The Belgian just couldn’t get into the game. He made some good runs, but just didn’t receive the ball in good areas in which he could influence the game.

• 23 Christian Eriksen – 6

Looked the Tottenham player most likely to score goals, but this isn’t really saying very much. Steven Gerrard largely filled the areas in which he wanted to work.

• 09 Roberto Soldado – 3

Another awful performance from the Spaniard, who cost £26m last summer. He never looked dangerous when he had the ball, and made very few telling runs as well.
