Arsenal tipped to beat Tottenham to £5m defender signing
Michel Vorm – 7
The only Tottenham player to have anything like a positive impact on the game. Did well to tip over from Ings on the stroke of half time and saved a couple of other attempts.
Kyle Walker – 4 (Davies 47′)
Bombed forward at will, completely ignoring his defensive duties which left huge holes at the back. Pochettino did him a favour bringing him off so early after half time, as he had a shocker.
Eric Dier – 5
Coped particularly poorly with the physicality of Burnley’s style of play, exposed by Danny Rose’s complete lack of defensive cover.
Vlad Chiriches – 6
Performed well at centre-back, before being shuffled over to right back when Ben Davies replaced Danny Rose. Like Rose, he didn’t give Dier as much help as he needed.
Danny Rose – 4
Similarly to Walker, the left back completely ignored his defensive duties while also having very little influence on the game going forward. Didn’t like being put under pressure and allowed Kieran Trippier to pull strings.
