CM: Laste Dombaxe
Sandro is likely to be rested for Liverpool, which could see central midfield Dombaxe handed his Tottenham debut. Like Fredericks, the youngster has been included in previous squads this season but is yet to make an appearance.
CM: Mousa Dembele
It seems likely that one of Sandro, Paulinho or Dembele will have to line-up against Anzhi, with the Belgian our bet. With Liverpool looming, Villas-Boas will try to give Dembele a rest in the second half, particularly as his dodgy hip appears to be flaring up again.
