AMC: Christian Eriksen
The majestic Dane is fit against after injuring his ankle on international duty and is likely to play from the start. With Lewis Holtby and Paulinho impressing in his absence, expect Eriksen to get 90 minutes on Thursday and be left out of the squad for Sunday’s crunch clash.
AML: Gylfi Sigurdsson
The Icelandic playmaker has scored more league goals from open play than any other Spurs player so far this season but has struggled for minutes of late, with his last league start coming against Newcastle in mid-November. Siggy should play from the start against Anzhi and a great performance could see the 24-year-old in contention to face Liverpool.
AMR: Andros Townsend
After making himself the darling of English football in October, Townsend has slipped behind Aaron Lennon in the pecking order and, like Sigurdsson, paid the price for the defeat against Newcastle. The 22-year-old will probably be given a chance to impress against Anzhi but the industrious Lennon should retain his place for Liverpool.
ST: Roberto Soldado
The Spaniard has found goals hard to come in the league and has lost his place to Jermain Defoe in the last two matches. With Emmanuel Adebayor unfancied and Harry Kane unfit, expect Soldado to start against Anzhi and a big performance is needed from the £26m man.
