AMR: Aaron Lennon
The flying winger is on great form and terrorised Patrice Evra against Manchester United and looked at his sharpest against Sunderland. Liverpool rookie Jon Flanagan will have his hands full in the left wing back spot.
AML: Nacer Chadli
The Belgian was not Spurs most glamorous summer signing but has won favour under Villas-Boas for his work-rate and arial presence at both ends of the pitch. The former FC Twente man should get the nod ahead of Andros Townsend, Erik Lamela and Gylfi Sigurdsson.
AMC: Paulinho
The Brazilian has spent most of this season in a deep-lying midfield role but is likely to be pushed further forward on Sunday, at the expense of the impressive Lewis Holtby. Paulinho’s runs into the box will be very useful for whoever Spurs use as a lone striker.
ST: Roberto Soldado
Villas-Boas faces a tough decision over whether to reinstate Roberto Soldado after his hat-trick against Anzhi midweek. Jermain Defoe has looked lively in the away wins at Fulham and Sunderland but failed to find the net, meaning the Spaniard should get the nod.
