Spurs have it all to do after a 1-3 home defeat in the first-leg.
Things don’t look good for Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League as they try and overturn a 1-3 deficit against Benfica in the second-leg of their last-16 tie.
The Portuguese side hold the advantage and with everything still to do in the Premier League manager Tim Sherwood may well rest a few key players.
Here’s how fanatix thinks Spurs will lineup:
GK – Brad Friedel
Hugo Lloris is reportedly injured and hasn’t travelled so, with Huerelho Gomes ineligible, Spurs will put a youngster on the bench and an old man between the sticks. 42-year-old Friedel will have to be at his best to keep out Benfica.
RB – Kyle Naughton
With Kyle Walker still out former Sheffield United team-mate Naughton is likely to be called in at right-back, with the Englishman having impressed much more in the position than on the left.
CB – Sandro
Younes Kaboul looks likes joining Michael Dawson, Vlad Chiriches and Etienne Capoue on the injury list, whilst Jan Vertonghen is suspended and Sandro is likely to be called upon in defence.
CB – Zeki Fryers
Although when donning a Tottenham shirt the youngster has generally been seen at left-back, with the fitness problems highlighted above Fryers is going to have to move inside.
LB – Danny Rose
This is a maybe as Sherwood is going to wait to give the left-back a late fitness test before deciding whether Rose should play or not, so fingers crossed all round for Spurs fans.
