Spurs want Hulk after Willian disappointment.
Tottenham Hotspur could turn to Zenit St. Petersburg forward Hulk after missing out on Willian, reports the Daily Mirror.
Spurs are reportedly preparing a monster £30m bid for the Zenit star, as Gareth Bale inches closer to a world-record move to Real Madrid.
A £26m deal to take Roma starlet Erik Lamela, 21, to White Hart Lane is already in place but Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas wants two forwards to replace the departing Bale and is ready to turn to his former Porto charge Hulk, after Willian joined Chelsea at the eleventh hour.
Asked about a move for the Brazil international, Villas-Boas told reporters: “He is not our player, so I find it difficult to respond.”
Russian journalist Artur Petrosyan confirmed that Hulk wanted to leave Zenit but suggested there are currently no takers for the 27-year-old, who cost the Russian outfit around £35m in September 2012.
Hulk still wants to leave #Zenit but seems like there’s no club where he’s the main target so his future depends on many other transfers.
