Halilovic set for Spurs after North London outfit renew interest in attacking midfielder.
Tottenham are on the verge of signing Dinamo Zagreb wonderkid Alen Halilovic, according to Croatian newspaper Sportske Novosti.
Spurs will reportedly pay Dinamo €15m (£12.9m) for the 17-year-old playmaker, who is one of the most highly-rated prospects in Europe.
Halilovic’s father, Sead, reportedly met Spurs’ officials in London during the past few days after flying to England to watch his other son, Dino, play in the Nike Premier Cup for Dinamo’s youth team.
According to respected journalist Sasa Ibrulj, Dinamo boss Krunoslav Jurcic has been playing Halilovic out of position and Zdravko Mamic, the club’s executive director, wants to sell the attacker before his value decreases.
Jutarnji with the story ‘Halilovic to Spurs’ again. In short, Jurčić plays him out of his position and it’s better for Mamić to sell now.

They really know how to raise the price, don’t they? The boy is in a poor form, so such a spin is what Mamić needs.

In late June, Sportske claimed Spurs had agreed a €20m (£17.2m) double deal to bring both Halilovic and teammate Tin Jedvaj to White Hart Lane but the move reportedly broke down because Halilovic’s family were unimpressed with Spurs’ offer.
Jedvaj, also 17, has since joined Serie A outfit AS Roma but Tottenham’s interest in his former teammate does not appear to have faded.
Halilovic already boasts one senior cap for Croatia and has been compared with former Spurs star Luka Modric, who left White Hart Lane for Real Madrid in a £27m deal last summer.
The youngster made 18 league appearances for Dinamo last season, scoring twice, and also featured on three occasions in the club’s Champions League campaign.
Daniel Levy was reportedly spotted in Zagreb last week, despite reports the Spurs chairman was in Miami.
