Brazilian international Paulinho is unhappy at Tottenham, and could be leaving in the summer after only one year at the club, reports the Daily Mail.
The 25-year-old arrived at White Hart Lane last summer following an impressive Confederations Cup campaign, but despite impressing early on, has failed to live up to his reputation or his price-tag.
He’s lost his place in the side under Tim Sherwood, with the English boss preferring teenage midfielder Nabil Bentaleb to the capped Brazilian.
“I understand the team rotation because that’s how it works here, but I am not feeling well or comfortable. I want to be present, I want to play,” said Paulinho.
“The language is the most complicated thing as I am lazy about studying. I am learning little by little, but I don’t understand everything.
“The football language is easier, that’s not a problem on the pitch.”
there will undoubtedly be many suitors for the highly rated South American, who may stay at the club if a new manager arrives in the summer and promises the box-to-box midfielder a more integral role in the side.
