Hugo Lloris would ‘like’ Gunners move.
Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris wants to swap the white half of north London for the red half, according to Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud.
Giroud and Lloris are French international teammates and the Gunners star says he has chatted to his compatriot about a move across London.
“We go out together and talk about everything,” Giroud told French TV. “We talk about life and sometimes the French team a bit and our wish to have a great experience together at the World Cup.
“Have I asked him to join Arsenal? Yes, I have with Lolo (Laurent Koscielny). He would have liked to, he would quite like to. You will have to ask him the question.”
Lloris has been one of Spurs’ outstanding players this season but Les Bleus captain has twice mentioned the importance of Champions League football in recent weeks – a worrying sign for Tottenham fans, whose team face a tough task to pip Liverpool to fourth in the Premier League.
