But Spurs have agreed personal terms with the highly-rated Lamela.
Tottenham are yet to reach an agreement with Roma for winger Erik Lamela, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
Spurs have reportedly agreed personal terms with the 21-year-old Argentine, who will earn around €2.4m per season should he move to White Hart Lane.
But the North London outfit have offered €30m plus bonuses for Lamela, with Roma holding out for €35m.
The Serie A club also want the cash paid in installments over two years, while Spurs would prefer to pay over four or five.
Di Marzio says the parties are still talking, while Lamela, who took part in a club open day at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday, continues to train with the Italian outfit.
