The 21-year-old goal machine has been one of the stars of this season so far, enjoying a meteoric rise almost from nowhere after initially not looking like becoming a first-team regular at White Hart Lane.
However, Kane is now Spurs’ top scorer and is seen as the player who could make the difference for them as they look to beat Chelsea at Wembley this Sunday.
Speaking about his rapid improvement, the England Under-21 international says going out on loan has been a big help for his confidence.
“At Orient I scored five goals and only made nine starts. Then at Millwall I did well. Maybe at Norwich and Leicester I did not play as much as I would have liked. But that is something you have to learn from,” he is quoted as saying on CaughtOffside.
“I would say to anyone: All my loan spells have helped to make me the player I am today. Confidence, that comes from being on the pitch. I just cannot wait for the next game, as any striker feels when they are scoring goals.
“That is how important confidence is to strikers – and I am full of it at the moment.”
