The Danish playmaker was instrumental for Spurs in the 2-0 win over Norwich.
Roberto Soldado sang the praises of new Tottenham colleague Christian Eriksen after an inspired debut at White Hart Lane.
Deployed in the no. 10 role by Andre Villas Boas, Eriksen played a starring role for Spurs as they beat Norwich 2-0 on Saturday, setting up the first goal for Gylfi Sigurdsson and playing a key role in the Icelandic international’s second after the break.
The 21-year-old, signed from Ajax for £11.5m in the final week of the transfer window, only had three training sessions with his new team-mates before the match and fellow summer arrival Soldado was impressed by how quickly he adapted to the English game.
“He is a brilliant player. It’s incredible that he has got up to this level already in his first game in English football,” Soldado told ITV.
“It’s great for him, for the team. He is a player who is capable of improving all of us.
“He is a player that makes everything look easy and that’s good for us. Today he made the difference, he’s a player that can support us in everything we do. He can offer us a lot of passes to everyone who plays in attack for Spurs.”
