Moutinho says he is happy at Porto.
Long-term Tottenham target Joao Moutinho has dismissed reports he is set to join AS Monaco and says he is happy at Porto.
The Portuguese playmaker has been linked with a move to Spurs since Andre Villas-Boas arrived at White Hart Lane last summer, while big-spending PSG are also said to admire the 26-year-old.
But reports on Tuesday had suggested that newly-promoted Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco were lining-up a move for Moutinho and his Porto teammate James Rodriguez.
The midfielder however has insisted he is more than happy at Porto, where he has just won a third consecutive league title.
“Right now, nothing will make me change clubs. I am extremely happy here and the most important thing is happiness and winning titles,” Moutinho is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
But he added: “My future is up to FC Porto. No player is immune to leaving. But if something does come up, it has to be something good for both parties.”
Moutinho says Porto are determined to improve on their European performances next year, after exit in the Champions League last-16 against Malaga.
“We want to improve the campaign from last year, we want to improve on the European level, we want to win everything you enter and it is with this in mind that we will enter the first day of the season,” added the Portugal international.
