Alvaro Pereira would ‘evaluate’ offers, amid reported interest from Porto and Spurs.
Reported Tottenham target Alvaro Pereira would consider a move away from Inter Milan, according to his agent.
The Uruguay international, 27, worked with Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas at Porto before joining Inter Milan last summer.
But the left-back had a disappointing first season in the Serie A and has been linked with a reunion with his former head-coach at White Hart Lane.
Porto are also said to be interested in re-signing the defender, who can operate in midfield.
“At this time the player has a contract with the Nerazzurri,” Pereira’s agent Flavio Perchman told fcinternews.it.
“If there are opportunities to go elsewhere we will evaluate them and decide what is best for the player.
“Porto? I have not been contacted and I don’t know if they spoke with Inter. Tottenham? We will see further ahead in time if this interest is concrete.”
With Benoit Assou-Ekotto reportedly unfancied by Villas-Boas, Tottenham are in need of a new left-back this summer.
Danny Rose started the club’s opening Premier League match of the season at Crystal Palace but it is thought the club are working on signing an upgrade, with Real Madrid’s Fabio Coentrao a reported target.
