The 21-year-old England striker, who netted on his debut against Lithuania on Friday evening, has been in highly prolific form for Spurs this season, becoming regarded as one of the best young strikers in Europe.
This has seemingly caught United’s attention as Tottenham hope to enter contract talks with the player once again after already giving him a pay rise earlier on in the season.
The north London outfit have lost big names to the Red Devils in the past, with Michael Carrick and Dimitar Berbatov among those who swapped White Hart Lane for Old Trafford in the last decade.
Champions League qualification does not look likely for Spurs this season, and it has to be asked if a player of this quality will want to continue with a team not competing at the top level in Europe?
