Spurs launch ‘interactive digital experience for kids’…and it’s all a bit odd.
Before getting busy defending their decision to change their Gareth Bale-focussed twitter background, the chaps in charge of Tottenham’s official twitter account caused some bemused speculation among Spurs fans after a couple of cryptic tweets about something hiding in the White Hart Lane pitch:

Was it a Marca reporter, Ledley King’s missing cartilage or Emmanuel Adebayor’s form?
No!
It was the Turfies…apparently. The below tweets and video should explain all:
We can confirm what we found living in the pitch at White Hart Lane. Meet the Tottenham Turfies! #turfies pic.twitter.com/ycVN4nlhgR

Aimed at 7-10 year olds, the Turfies are the focus of a mobile and online game that allows Spurs supporting youngsters to play a series of mini-games in a virtual world… (You’ll be able to find out more HERE).
That’s all well and good but we can’t help but feel the club are inviting ridicule on themselves somewhat.
And also…IS GARETH BALE STAYING FOR CRYING OUT LOUD?
