Kieran Gibbs (Arsenal)
Kieran Gibbs can consider himself unfortunate to now be arguably England’s fourth choice left back, for the Gunners man has had a better season than either Everton’s Leighton Baines (One assist all season and three set piece goals despite much vaunted attacking play), and Ashley Cole of Chelsea, who has barely played.
Gibbs provides Arsenal with pace and width on the left flank, with the midfielder ahead of him tending to cut inside to the centre.
This means that Gibbs has to be constantly available on the overlap, as well as perform his primary job of covering back in defence.
