Tottenham Hotspurs have made a clear move to gain Paris St-Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi, according to the Italian outlet TMW.
Talks within the Premier League have occurred within the past few months, in hopes to bring Lavezzi from Ligue 1 during the summer transfer months.

With Tottenham falling short from the top four spots this season, they are looking to make big moves to improve their team, and the Argentinian is on their short-list.
This may be doable for Tottenham, especially since his transfer price has dropped significantly since PSG acquired him three years ago. Lavezzi could be transferred to the Spurs in the region of £7.2million to £10.8million, in comparison to his £24m deal when he went to PSG from Napoli.
The drop of price makes for a great deal for the Spurs, but also worrying that his performance has dropped in his years in Paris. Although he played an average of eight games more per season at PSG than at Napoli, he only averaged one more goal per season.
Either way, Tottenham is still very interested in gaining the 30-yera-old, and it could be made easy with Lavezzi’s falling out with PSG’s manager Laurent Blanc.
