The 27 year-old has struggled for playing time at White Hart Lane under Mauricio Pochettino, and has been linked to the likes of Hull City, Queens Park Rangers and Stoke City.
However, it looks like the Toffees are the team to have won the race for his signature, and Lennon will compete with Kevin Mirallas, Steven Pienaar, Aiden McGeady and Christian Atsu for a place on the flanks at Goodison Park.
BBC journalist David Ornstein confirmed earlier that the deal is close to completion.
