Rose will not face a suspension.
Danny Rose has had his red card against Manchester City rescinded by the FA after Tottenham appealed against referee Andre Mariner’s decision.
The left back, 23, was sent off for clattering Edin Dzeko in the second half of City’s 5-1 win at White Hart Lane but replays showed Rose took the ball before the man.
The incident came with the visitors leading 1-0 and Yaya Toure cooly dispatched the penalty, before City punished ten-man Spurs.
While the contest was wholly one-sided Spurs will be left wondering how they would have fared had Rose not seen red.
The defender is now free to face Hull City at the KC Stadium this weekend.
