Real reportedly have deal in place to take Bale to the Bernabeu.
Real Madrid have agreed a sensational 90m euro (£76m) deal to sign Tottenham superstar Gareth Bale, according to a FIFA agent.
The deal would make Bale the most expensive British player in history and the second most expensive of all time behind Real’s Cristiano Ronaldo, who cost £80m in 2009.
The Spanish outfit have been linked with a move for Bale since the end of the season and president Florentino Perez recently claimed the 23-year-old was ‘born to play for Real Madrid’.
Spurs have been adamant that their prized asset, who scored 21 league goals last season, is not for sale but the club’s failure to secure Champions League football has left them open to bids for the Wales international.
Real are currently without a head-coach after Jose Mourinho’s exit but World Cup winner Zinedine Zidane is currently acting as the cub’s director of football and the Frenchman has praised Bale already this summer.
And FIFA agent Francois Gallardo believes that Real have already agreed a deal with Spurs and will announce the move as soon as a new manager is in place.
“The signing was finalised this week, but Real Madrid will not make it official until a new coach is announced,” Gallardo told Radio Intereconomia Catalonia.
“I have information and I can assure you that Gareth Bale is already player of Real Madrid.”
