Spurs target Brazilian forward who cost £45m last summer…
Contrary to reports in the English press, Tottenham have had a £10m-a-year loan bid for Zenit St Peterseburg’s Brazilian forward Hulk rejected.
It was reported that Hulk was offered to Spurs for this fee, but in actual fact the Premier League big spenders made the Russian club the huge offer – which has been turned down.
Zenit Coach Luciano Spaletti believes the powerful 27-year-old can eventually live up to the huge price tag Zenit paid Porto last year, and is adamant that Hulk will not be leaving.
It is unlikely Spurs will be able to complete a deal for the attacker before the window slam shut this evening.
Wrong reports in UK press. It’s not #Zenit who offered #THFC to take Hulk on loan. It’s Spurs who offered £10m to them. Spalletti refused.
