MC) Etiene Capoue
Capoue is a powerful, energetic midfielder, so has all the footballing attributes to be the perfect selection for a frantic FA Cup derby match. Sherwood subbed him for Bentaleb against United, but is unlikely to throw the youngster in to start against the Gunners.
MC) Lewis Holtby
Paulinho and Sandro are still out injured, so we think Sherwood could give Holtby a game, resting Mousa Dembele in the process.
AMR) Aaron Lennon
Lennon has been impressive recently, sparking calls for him to potentially make Roy Hodgson’s summer World Cup squad. He was one of Spurs’ best players against United, and we don’t think Sherwood is the kind of manager who will rest a player at the top of his game.
AML) Nacer Chadli
Erik Lamela had a shocker at the Emirates earlier in the season, and Chadli did well at Old Trafford are coming on for Adebayor on New Year’s Day. The Belgian winger would provide width, and we think he’ll be given a chance from the start of the match, with Christian Eriksen used as a bench option.
