Ex Arsenal and Man City captain’s days at Liverpool could be numbered.
Turkish side Trabzonspor are keen to sign Liverpool defender Kolo Toure, according to the Daily Mail.
Toure moved to Anfield from Manchester City last summer and made 20 appearances in the Premier League last season.
However, he made multiple high-profile errors and Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is apparently willing to consider offers for the 33-year-old former Arsenal skipper, who has one year remaining on his current contract.
Liverpool want to add Southampton defender Dejan Lovren to their defensive ranks, perhaps as a replacement for Toure.
However, the Saints are playing hardball and rejected Liverpool’s opening bid, which was reportedly in the region of £18m.
The Reds plan to make another offer for the Croatia international.
Lovren, 25, made 31 starts in the Premier League last term, making 61 tackles, 84 interceptions and 239 clearances.
He has three years left on his current contract at St Mary’s.
