Several teams have reportedly inquired about the availability of Buccaneers WR Vincent Jackson.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks are among the “more than four” clubs to have asked about Jackson, the Buccaneers’ leading receiver.
Each of those teams make sense, since they are all playoff and Superbowl contenders missing a big-bodied, deep-threat to be the Go-To Guy for Pro Bowl QBs.
Jackson is making $10 million this season and is slated to make nearly $10 million in each of the next two seasons.
Jackson was a free agent pickup by the Buccaneers in 2012. He made the Pro Bowl in his first year with the team and led the league in yards/catch with 19.2.
