Anderson has been heavily linked to a Premier League move, with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho also believed to be keen in the Brazilian.
The 22-year-old has turned heads with his stellar performances in the Serie A last term, and The Sun reports United boss Louis van Gaal is keen to snare the former Santos midfielder’s signature.
Van Gaal is looking to bolster his options in the front third this summer as the Red Devils aim to make a push for the Premier League title next season, and Felipe Anderson could be the man to help United challenge the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City for domestic honours.
Anderson joined Lazio in a £6.5m deal in 2013 and has since scored 10 goals in 45 league appearances for the club.
He made his international debut for Brazil in a friendly with Mexico last week but missed out on a place in Dunga’s 2015 Copa America squad.
