Stand-in Test captain Steve Smith will take over the reigns as one-day skipper in the absence of George Bailey for Friday’s Tri-Series clash with England.

In other team news, David Warner is being rested for Friday’s clash in Hobart due to hamstring soreness.
Bailey and Warner have been replaced by Shaun Marsh and Cameron White in Australia’s 12-man squad.
Australia are yet to lose a game in the Tri-Series, having defeated England in the tournament opener by three wickets.
