Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon has done nothing to shed his reputation as a player who possesses a ton of talent but has wasted it throughout his short NFL career.
Gordon led the NFL in receiving in the 2013 season with 1,646 yards and nine touchdown catches, but he was forced to sit out for the majority of the 2014 season due to a 10-game suspension for failing multiple drug tests.
The wide receiver found himself in even more hot water with another failed drug test, as he tested positive for alcohol. He was tested for alcohol due to a previous DUI arrest.
Gordon continues to insist that he wants to change though, as he wrote an open letter to the media. He name-dropped media figures such as former NBA player Charles Barkley and ESPN First Take debater Stephen A. Smith.
In the letter, he pointed out that they have had controversial moments of their own.
Sporting News revealed the entire letter by Gordon on Twitter.
