Professional athletes are showing their excitement over the game, and this includes prominent Green Bay Packers players such as quarterback Aaron Rodgers and wide receiver Randall Cobb.
Rodgers played for Cal, but he supports Wisconsin’s basketball team while Cobb is supporting Kentucky, his alma mater.
Packers wide receiver Jared Abbrederis also engaged in friendly banter with Cobb on Twitter, as he attended and played for Wisconsin.
Rodgers’ allegiance to Wisconsin’s basketball team is no secret since he famously celebrated Wisconsin’s trip to the Final Four on the court after attending their Sweet 16 and Elite Eight games.
He had been drawing criticism from CBS Sports college football writer Dennis Dodd for refusing to interview.
Here are some tweets of the Packers players trash talking each other and getting fired up for this battle for the ages.
