If Arsenal were hoping to get any relief from seeing Man United and Man City lose on Tuesday, their own performance in the Champions League may have put a damper on that.
Before they knew what happened Arsenal found themselves down 1-0 to Dinamo Zagreb – a Pot 4 club – and then they then lost Olivier Giroud to a red card. From there the game snowballed into a 2-1 defeat, with the Gunners losing yet another Champions League opener.
For some it was the kind of performance that can really push a person over the edge – figuratively AND literally.
ARSENAL ISN’T A FOOTBALL TEAM IT’S AN EXPERIMENT ON HOW MUCH A CLUB CAN DISAPPOINT YOU AND YOU STILL SUPPORT IT.

Others took their disappointment to entirely different levels:
Arsenal legit makes me wanna try Meth sometimes.

I got 99 problems and Arsenal is 10 of them. I’d say 11 but, y’know. Giroud.

But others were a little bit more willing to give the Gunners a pass for a rough day on the road:
Arsenal were very unlucky to lose today. They did everything they needed to win. They’ll play much better in their home games in the CL.
