The 39-year-old has won 14 majors, and this is the first time that he has sat outside the top 100 in 18 years, having spent a total of 683 weeks at top spot throughout his stunning career.
Woods’ career is coming to an unsavoury end, with the legend constantly battling through injury, announcing only in February that he would be taking a break from the sport, as he no longer views his play as “acceptable for tournament golf,” as quoted by CNN – and this latest hit typifies his fall from grace.
