Both of these players had been suspended from the team in November after being labeled as suspects in an incident where rapes allegedly occurred at Johnson’s off-campus apartment.
Neither of these players have been officially charged with rape, but Johnson has a lot riding on his future since he is expected to be selected in the NFL Draft after accruing 425 tackles throughout his college career.
If Johnson is charged and found guilty, it will be difficult for him to ever find work in the NFL. Williams is still in college and remains suspended indefinitely.
