Former Arsenal defender Tyler Reid scored his first goal for Manchester United’s Under-21s on Monday night.
Reid, who celebrated his 18th birthday last month, displayed impressive pace and composure to fire United’s youth side to a 1-0 win at Sunderland – the team top of the Barclays U21 Premier League Division 1 table.
Having come on as a sub, the right-back was deployed further forward than usual in a winger role. And he certainly made a statement about his attacking ability!

Luton-born Reid joined United from Arsenal in 2012.
He helped the Red Devils win the 2013 Milk Cup, beating County Tyrone 1-0 in the final.
